TED 1001 upgrade to 5000?

Hello,
I have a TED 1001 unit and it works great although I'd really like to upgrade to 5000.  Do I have to get new MTU and CTs?

Yes, you will have to purchase a new system. While the hardware for the 1000 and 5000 series work in a similar fashion, they are not interchangeable. Thank you for your loyalty to TED and let me know if you have any other questions about TED5000!
