Couple install questions

I have my Ted 1001 installed on a sub panel out in a barn I built to play music in. I ran a 60 amp circuit out to a sub-panel. Please help me with these questions
A. What direction are the dots on my ct clamps suppose to face? Towards the main panel or towards my sub panel?
B. I'm getting sporadic green lights flashing on my RDU shouldn't it blink ever second or so?

In most situations, as long as both face the same way you should be OK.
