DougHo: I had to do a reversion after the 370 release with Net Generation. What finally worked was to do a hard reset with little button on the gateway and reload the system and utility settings manually, instead of restoring them.

I second SES_1066 statement.  In addition, I have a 21xx series gateway and 2 Mtu's that are 10xxx one of which is less than 60days old.

A few graphing issues.

COST($) is upside down and the graph for July is labeled June at the bottom.

On the image below the graphing for May, the maximum bars are correct, but the minimum bars ore wrong. For MTU 1 it displays 3.334 the correct amount is .456, for MTU 2 it displays 3.078 the correct amount is .04, for MTU 3 it displays 3.334 the correct amount is -.002 and for MTU 4 it displays 2.822 and the correct amount is -4.947. MTU 1 and 2 are load, MTU 3 is Generation and MTU 4 is stand alone_net.

Attached are the monthly exports for May.

In this monthly export for MTU 1 the Minimum cost is wrong.

It shows 0.456 for the minimum power and my rate is 0.0663 so the cost should have been 0.03.

I wanted to clear a few things up that may have confused a few users.

When talking about 20 xx xx and 21 xx xx series GW. We are referring to the serial number which is on the bottom of the gateway (physically) and is also listed in the Product ID tab under System Settings Wizard.  BTW,  MTU and Display serials have nothing to do with anything in this case.

When were talking about version numbers of the firmware were talking about the last 3 digits. When your looking at your Help > About page the versions will be listed for example like this

1.0.406   so when we say  version 380 or 316  were referring to 1.0.380  or 1.0.316.  Hope this clears up a few things.

Just a note that we have pushed up an updated Beta release (first post of this thread).

I'll take a look at the label(what browser and browser version are you using).  However, the label is just a CSS element so it may not be fixable if its a browser issue. The month label is just the way the graphing library is drawing the boundary and unfortunately not something we can fix ourselves (but w/ the library that has been reported to the already). We still plan on tossing the library in an upcoming release (keeps getting bumped back down in priority).

Thanks, we'll look into this.

IE 9

When first loaded it is vertical but when I scroll over the graph with the mouse and a baloon apears it changes to inverted. No biggie, I can still read it.

I loaded the R450 gateway and still cannot communicate with my 3m50. IP is entered correct. I can enter the IP in my browser and get the information page from the thermostat. Their cloud service talks to my thermostat. My Thermostat Firmware Version is 1.04.64

Is this the firmware version I need?

That should be a good version to work with (anything that is 1.4.x). You may want to try resetting both the TED5000 and the 3m50 to see if communication occurs then. To reset the 3m50 you can remove the top cover of the thermostat and  hold the "reset" button for a few minutes (towards the left hand side of the thermostat).

I wasnít clear on what you meant when you said reset the TED, so I restarted it using the drop down under the advanced tab.

It loaded the thermostat information, but after about 5 seconds footprints stops loading any updated data unless I hit the refresh tab.

If I set the number of thermostats to 0 in the setup wizard, it updates fine, but of course I donít have the thermostat information.

Is there something that if footprints is waiting for info from the thermostat it will not update the other data until it gets it?

I have tried resetting both the thermostat and restarting TED with the same results.

My Gateway ID is a "20..." type, which the post #1 says should not use this beta.  However, EnerSave support recommends installing 450.  What to do?  Will a later beta work with my Gateway??  When???

TEDDev & JBurgess: Since Reset Totals and Restart wasn't enough to fix me after downgrading to non-beta firmware on my 20-series days ago, I just did the reset to factory defaults and erase history (then restored system/utility settings).  that worked - my Peak kW Today is now proper and hopefully the daily export min pwr will be proper later.  I decided to do it after having a problem where all history and export data (and EnerSave) stopped after 9am this morning, even though real time status and graphing were showing proper live data.  Since this is the first factory reset I've done in more than a year, I might try load profile again since that had stopped working for me around a year ago.

What about those of us with earlier gateway models?  Will there be a firmware upgrade for us?

Note: If your Gateway ID starts with a 20  (e.g. 2000AB) please do not apply this firmware update. Users w/ Gateway ID's that start with 21  (e.g. 2100AB) can still apply this update. Your Gateway ID is visible under System Settings->Product Information and is also printed on a sticker located at the bottom of the Gateway.

We will release a version the near future that doesn't contain Google PowerMeter activation (since that is going away anyway). That will bring the Footprints  back down in size small enough to work w/ 20-series gateways. The only new feature that wouldn't be available for 20-series TED5000's would be demand charge calculations. The other features (RTA integration, 3rd party support enhancements, load profile fixes, history backup/restore) will still be available.  We are still testing the current beta release against 20-series Gateways to identify any additional issues that come up.

That being said, be sure to check the gateway id to make sure you have a 20-series model. There were not many 20-series units manufactured and the majority of TED5000's purchased would be 21-series. The gateway series number is the first two digits of the serial number on the bottom of the gateway and is listed under the Product ID tab of System Settings Wizard.
