ADDING SPYDER USAGE to NET

Is there a way to add the spyder usage to the MTU usage?

For my main panel, I don't have a main shutoff.. The meter connects directly down, via the bus, to several breakers.. AC units, Oven, and a sub panel....  So it's not straight forward to get a total..  I have my MTU on the sub panel circuit breaker.. Then the spyder on the following 4 circuits..  2 AC breakers, Range Breaker, Heat Strips/Air Handler..

I would like to sum these all up... if possible..

Hello santhony,

The Spyder data is shown only on the Spyder Tab, the Graphing Tab, and in the Exports. If you are not monitoring your Main panel with your MTU, you will need to export the Spyder and MTU data and manually add it together.

Since I don't have a main breaker for my primary panel.. Is there any other way to measure from the bus?

Here's my main panel.

If you look closely, you'll see the two copper bus that connect to the breakers...  There's no Main Breaker for this panel... The bus comes straight down from the meter...

I thought I saw where there's an alternate way by threading a wire around the bus, that can measure the current...  Rogowski AC Current Probes??

ok..  I just took another look at my panel box.. And I should easily be able to put the coil around the copper bus.... 

I just need to confirm it will work with the Ted Pro Home...

Hi santhony,

The Rogowski coils only work with the TED Pro Commercial MTUs, but those MTUs are compatible with the Pro Home ECCs.

I guess that idea goes out the window...   The new link...   $850 for an MTU with Rogowski Coils....
