I have been wildly unsuccessful at getting TED adviser to work with gmail. Anyone have suggestions? I have tried the following:
smtp.gmail.com , port 465, ssl, require authentication
smtp.gmail.com , port 465, no ssl, require authentication
smtp.gmail.com , port 587, ssl, require authentication
smtp.gmail.com , port 587, no ssl, require authentication
smtp.gmail.com , port 25, ssl, require authentication
smtp.gmail.com , port 25, no ssl, require authentication
I can send and receive email using the same settings with a thunderbird email client (smtp.gmail.com , port 465, ssl, require authentication)
