House Code help
« on: May 17, 2017, 11:40:29 PM »
My original 1001 RDU fell off the counter (with help from a playful feline), I purchase a new display unit but can't get it to communicate with the existing MDU. The MDU is labeled model 5000, but the six digit serial number has a sticker over top it with a nine digit number. The serial number is 118111876, my problem is I can't figure out the house code.

You will almost certainly get a useful response faster if you raise a Support ticket on the main site.

Unfortunately we no longer support the TED1001 so access to the documentation is a little scarce but I was able to find out a little information on the house code.
Each MTU has a House Code from 000 to 255. This number can be found in two places: on a sticker on the MTU, and on a sticker included loose with the MTU.
The House Code is the three-digit number preceding the Serial Number. For example; If the number on the sticker is 137B-15509741 then the house code is 137.
