Hello,
My question is about the CTs location connected to the MTU (TED Pro Home).
My home electrical installation : 2 x 200 A lines coming from my energy provider.
Each line has 2 wires : 1 hot phase wire and 1 neutral phase wire.
Before my 3 electrical panels, I have a box containing three big connectors.
Connector 1, in : 2 hot wires, out : 3 hot wires going to the three electrical panels
Connector 2, in : 2 neutral wires, out : 3 neutral wires going to the three electrical panels
Connector 3, in : 2 ground wires, out : 3 ground wires going to the three electrical panels
Because I have 2 lines from my electrical provider, the first 200 A CT is not suitable to border the two hot wires and the second one is not suitable for the two neutral wires.
To try my TED Pro Home, I match the CTs to one of the two hot wires and to one of the two neutral wires. Hence, I guess I will measure only half the energy consumption.
In the Footprints frontpage/MTU calibration, I entered 2 in the "kW Adjust" field.
Is that okay?
Should I use Rogowski coils ? If yes, what will be the advantages?
Thank you to help me.
