Title: Graphing
Post by: al881 on October 04, 2014, 12:52:23 AM

Hello
I have a TED Pro. ECC Version 1.0.0.624
Footprints: 1.0.0623

Nice product BTW.

A question concerning graphing tab.
I only have one months of full data and a partial amount for August. So September is the first full month.

When i select the duration to 3 months, and view type is set to month view. I
see 2 vertical bars. One for August 2014 and September 2014.

So far ok.

When I move my mouse pointer over the bars there appears a red vertical line that follows my mouse.
So far ok.

The text that appears says :
August 2014
MTU 1 Cost: $1.26
MTU 1 Energy: 13.576 kw

It appears on both August and September. Same values.

Is this normal? I would have thought that the text would change when moving over different months.

Thanks and regards
Al

Hello al881,

Are you certain you see multiple months of data on your graphing? What is your meter read date?

How many MTUs do you have in your system? Do you have a Spyder?

Not sure what you mean but I started the TED in late August
Tested it for a few days then reset it for September

>How many MTUs do you have in your system?

Hello al881,

You are only showing one month of data. You are showing energy and cost, which are showing as the same size bar on the graph, but the cursor shows their actual values. the meter read date should be shown in the upper left had side of the Dashboard. This is the date on which the previous month's data will be saved, and another month will appear in your graphing and history. So, for example, if your meter read date is the 20th, then on September 20th, August's data will be saved and appear.

I hope this clears up any confusion.

It is a little confusing but in your graph your are only showing one month's data.  You have two bars but notice they are different colors one is for energy and one is for cost but both are for the same month.  Next month, if you leave it the same you will have 4 bars.  As stated above, when your meter read date occurs you will post another set of bars for the next month.

ok, got it.
I guess it was the September, 2014 label that is at the lower bottom right of the bar. I read that as it it represented that month.
and when I moved the mouse over that last bar, it still said August.

Thanks Al

I have a similar issue. I have a few months of data now but it does not show in the month history or in the graphing section either.

When the date changed to November, I lost the Sept 2014 data.
I have contacted support and they are building something to correct the problem.

Make sure you export your data every week or so

Thanks Al. I just received updated firmware and updated EEC, MTU and Footprint. Graphing and Month history are still not reporting the prior month values but for the current month, like the screenshots you posted earlier. I will wait until a fix is issued. In the meantime the export function provides all the historical monthly information since I installed the system back in June.

I updated all of my firmware but the history restore doesn't seem to work so I'll have to wait a few months to see if the graphing has been fixed.

It's actually gotten worse
I have updated to the latest firmwares a while back and now I have no BAR charts at all.
